Dolce Amalfi

Fragrance description

Although this fragrance has been on the market for several years, I was only introduced to it this year and I must say it is one of my most interesting discoveries.

Just by looking at the notes, I had a feeling that it would be a perfume that I might like. I was not wrong. Everything I like the most is present. A rich aroma that blends the juicy freshness of fruits (quince, green apple) with spices (saffron, cloves, cardamom), vanilla, amber and resinous elements such as incense, tolu balsam or amber. The scent is warm but at the same time fresh, spicy, slightly gourmand, slightly creamy. I am impressed.

Honestly, I do not know any other fragrance that is similar to it. It's very unique, especially with the use of quince, which is a key element of the whole composition, and I feel it from start to finish. It gives the composition a kick and a boozy vibe. Have you ever had quince tincture? This drink reminds me a lot of Dolce Amalfi.

Be aware that this scent is quite polarizing. Some people love it, others do not necessarily. It is definitely not a safe blind buy. There are also opinions that it smells like bubble gum, but in my opinion, that is an insult to this fragrance. Maybe it's because of the sweetness of quince and fruits and vanilla and tonka, but ... judge for yourself. Perfect unisex perfume for any season and totally worth a try.
