In 2017, three young men from Paris - Anthony Toulemonde, Paul Richardot and Victorien Sirot decided to revive the Violet brand that had fallen asleep for over 60 years (previosly founded in 1827 by François-Étienne Violet). With respect to the traditional past, classic French perfumery and understanding of the House's heritage, they designed the new start to this forgotten brand!
Un Air D’Apogée, created by the master perfumer Nathalie Lorson is a perfume that was originally named Apogée. It's a very complex and elegant scent, a spicy combination of flowers (bright and slightly powdery mimosa with a hint of sage and hay that underlines the green facets of mimosa), suede-leather facets, tobacco (green and sweet) and honey (spiced by anise, adds some sweetness and is noticeable from beginning to end). The suede leather is served here in a very subtle way, the scent has the vintage vibe (a tribute to the brand's heritage), but it's still modern. The sweetness is very well balanced. Last long on the skin with a good sillage. Suitable both for men and women. Definitely worth a try!
