Ambre Khandjar

Fragrance description

Before the destination, there is the path. The fascination, the emotion, old or new, unknown or familiar lands or just a moment we can't forget. It could mean everything, because it is invaluable.

Ambre Khandjar takes us to Oman in a dazzling second. The brand calls it "olfactive nomadism" and I completely agree. Cold as the blade of a dagger, warm as the sun setting behind red dunes. It is a powerful and multidimensional amber scent with an oriental twist. There is no amber in the note list as the effect has been achieved through a wonderful combination of such notes as labdanum, benzoin, patchouli, sandalwood and vanilla. There is also a subtle hint of leather. The scent unfolds on the skin, starting with a dark and slightly sweet plum, lightened by tangerine. Personally, I'm not a fan of a plum note, but not this time. It makes the scent even more unique and sophisticated.

Ambre Khandjar is a tribute to the traditions of Oman and perhaps that is why it is very classy, elegant and indeed perfect for special occasions.
