It's no secret that I am not a big fan of iris in perfumes. However, since I like to have a fairly diverse collection, I always approach fragrances with an open mind where iris plays one of the main roles, because there are also fragrances that I like a lot, and one of them is Oh la la.
What I like most about this perfume is the hazelnut accord. The aroma of freshly roasted hazelnuts fits perfectly into the autumnal aura, when we crave scents that envelop us and make us feel cozy and blissful. It is important to note that these are not sweet (as is usually the case) hazelnuts, but very dry ones. Together with sandalwood, the result is a very creamy, slightly milky scent, spiced with saffron and a little tobacco. All this sits on a musk base, which together with iris is responsible for the powdery aspects of this composition.
This is a sophisticated yet affordable unisex powdery-woody fragrance that you can wear all year round, especially in autumn and winter.
