Fragrance description

My Instagram adventure started with the description of Vangelis by Sylvaine Delacourte, that's another reason why this beautiful brand has an extra meaning for me. Today I want to tell you a little bit about Oscarine. For a long time I have liked fragrances based on the accord of orange blossom. There is something addictive about it, something that reminds me of spring when everything comes to life. Elegant freshness that is beautifully balanced in the orange blossom. This is an example of how we and our tastes change throughout this olfactory journey. When I first started getting interested in perfumes, I avoided these types of scents for a bit (floral, white-floral) and...today I love wearing them and telling you about them.

Oscarine is described by the brand as a juicy orange blossom and I agree, especially when we talk about the opening. It really awakens my senses, a surprising combination of tart and vibrant blackcurrant, zesty bergamot, green basil leaves with a pine forest background. I imagine a fairytale journey through a pine forest, enjoying the floating air, forest fruits and white flowers. It is indeed very lush and bright, but this state doesn't last very long, but doesn't disappear completely either.

A fresh, fruity nuance lingers somewhat in the background and this is where the raspberry-sweet orange blossom leitmotif comes into play. The fruity-fresh opening contrasts with the slightly powdery and soapy orange blossom, and the fragrance becomes increasingly sensual, soft and woody thanks to the long-lasting woody base that builds on a cypress accord. Vanilla was not mentioned in the composition, but I have the impression that is present there.

As always with Sylvaine Delacourte, there is so much class and high quality. It's a very likable , I would say easy to wear unisex fragrance with an orange blossom focus and fruity and woody nuances that works best in spring and summer.
