A Midsummer Dream is a fragrance that has something magical about it, where the summer freshness of the day mixes with the depth of the night. It gives the feeling of a certain surrealism and a transfer to another world. It is neither a chypre nor an amber fragrance, but... Accents from each of those categories are present here. Juicy grapefruit stands out against other citrus, with a slightly metallic hint of aldehydes, the depth and sweetness of multidimensional Rose de Mai, tempered by orange blossom nectar. The richness of notes in the fragrance of this brand is not surprising, and here each of the ingredients plays its own role like an actor on the stage of a theater speaking his lines. Thus, the power of spices gives character and highlights the properties of the other ingredients, carrot seeds emphasize the powderiness, vanilla with musk has a calming effect on the sparkling wood-resin base, in which oak moss with bensoin and elemi play the main role. However, everything is so seamlessly connected that it is really hard to isolate individual notes.

Lately, I often return to scents that are more suited to warm spring and summer days due to their nature. One such scent that is associated with summer is A Midsummer Dream. It is undoubtedly one of my most "unique" summer scents, as I find it hard to confuse it with any of the other scents in my collection. Therefore, I honestly think that this fragrance is suitable for any season, not just spring and summer.
