Rituals.
Like probably many of you, I hate the morning alarm clock, but when I do get up, morning rituals help me get well into the day, and the satisfaction is even greater when I get up earlier than planned. Shower, check facial hair (I have short stubble that I trim and shade every 3 days), face cream. Those are the basics in my case. Therein lies a certain ritual, as each action is always done in the same order. The essence of these treatments, which can also be called preparation for the finale, is the application of the perfume. This is my favorite moment, like the icing on the cake or the reward for waking up in the morning. Then I am ready to conquer the world or ... just go to work and have a morning cappuccino.
Since I have a wide selection of perfumes, as you have probably noticed, I use different perfumes depending of situation. However, sometimes there is no time for deeper reflection and then I like to reach for perfumes that are versatile, do not seem too intrusive, give a more or less strong feeling of freshness and at the same time have a high quality, which is always very important for me.
Vetiver Santal is not an innovative perfume, but it is beautiful in its simplicity and minimalism (also visible in a beautiful simple bottle and wooden packaging). It is a classic men's perfume with a citrus top note (lemon, bergamot, petitgrain), a woody vetiver heart note (sandalwood, vetiver) and a solid base note in the form of benzoin, patchouli and musk. The combination of vetiver and sandalwood makes the perfume creamy, and creamy vetiver is also a good term. Nothing stands out (except vetiver), everything is very coherent and the notes move smoothly to our nostrils with great elegance and chic adding energy and giving pleasure even on an ordinary day.
A nice perfume especially for fans of vetiver that can be worn with elegant clothes, for a business meeting, as well as with a t-shirt and jeans.
