Fragrance description

I cannot think of a better name for this fragrance than Ganymede (Jupiter's moon, the largest satellite in the solar system). There's something out of this planet in this scent. It's hard to describe, because I've never smelled anything like this...but let's try: A piercing silence, an endless space on unknown land, a mystery, dry cold metallic air, mineral substances you did not know before and limited gravity.

Fresh suede-leather, chypre-like scent with a fruity floral twist. A burst of bitter mandarin and violet leaf at the start, accompanied by immortele and peachy Chinese osmanthus. Flawless Suede-Leather is soft and rough at the same time (saffraline - a molecule that combines the scent of leather and saffron), the mandarin is bitter (like the peel of a tangerine) but juicy and brings a little sun to this composition. The spicy woodiness comes from Akigalawood (also used in the previously reviewed Bois Imperial). The scent is very airy (just like BR540, vibrant on the skin, dancing in the air) with a kind of mineral transparency (moss, amber gris) that is so hard to describe and you have to try to understand. This is what space smells like?

Of course, this perfume is incredibly elegant and sophisticated, so much so that you can wear it with a suit, but it also goes great with a walk by the river in a t-shirt, whether you are a woman or a man. For me, it's the perfect unisex fragrance with a fantastic sillage and longevity as if it were created by NASA.

Definitely one of the best fragrances in my collection, rightly awarded many times last year. I cannot say I was a bit obsessed with having this bottle in my collection, but I was dreaming about it...and a dream is always purer than an obsession. There is pride in a dream, anywhere in the world. I want to continue to follow my dreams.
