Fragrance description

This fragrance has something magical about it, a very nuanced magic in the air. Francis Kurkdjian did something amazing here. It's a very unique, irresistible and extraordinary creation inspired by Baccarat crystals heated at 540 degrees to achieve a red color.

I really don't know what those crystals smell like, but there must be something. The scent is really hard to describe, some say it smells medicinal, like a doctors office or bandages. Others say it's a cotton candy smell. Very well balanced sweetness (caramelized sugar like) with a dry floral-woody base, vibrant on the skin, dancing in the air. Modern type of fragrance, gender-neutral, based on molecules of the highest quality, very airy and light, but at the same time very powerful. There was and still is so much hype about this fragrance, as many say it is overrated. For me BR540 is just a victim of its own success, because it is a very special perfume and its popularity does not change my opinion.
