Fragrance description

The fig is a historical and tasty fruit with a multidimensional aroma profile. Its scent can be slightly milky, creamy, sweet, fruity and silky at the same time, and this is the fig most often found in perfumes, while the fig also has other fresh, green and earthy aspects that Nathalie Lorson wants to present in the latest composition of one of my favorite perfume brands - Essential Parfums.

Luminous fig

Essential Parfums is a brand that I would recommend especially to people who are just taking their first steps in niche perfumery and are looking for something much more sophisticated than what they have used before. Essential Parfums are first and foremost interesting compositions made by serious noses, but also have the best value for money. When I learned that the leitmotif of the new fragrance would be fig, I thought I would not be disappointed. I was not. Nathalie Lorson serves us a luminous fig that is palpable from start to finish, surrounded at the beginning by juicy, slightly sweet citrus ( mandarin and clementine) and with an energetic kick of black tea. The Sri Lankan tea adds a bitter, slightly green aromatic note, possibly also supported by vetiver. In my opinion, the luminosity and "transparency" are due to the subtle presence of orange blossom and freesia. The natural powderiness of the fig scents is very light, at a low level. The whole stands on a soothing woody base of cedar and sandalwood with resin accents of benzoin. However, the character of an elegant yet universal, generous and transparent fragrance with refined power has been preserved.
