Sincere

Fragrance description

Youth, idyll, meadow, holiday in the countryside, sunrises and sunsets, a glass of warm milk on the table. Memories that make you feel warm and comfortable, like at a woman's breast. Infinite melancholy. These are my thoughts when I smell Sincere.

I am usually very wary of lactone compositions with milk, coconut, musk, which is why Sincere is a fragrance I would not choose blindly. But it chose me and is a great surprise for me. What I like about this fragrance is a sense of warmth, body, a sense of intimacy with a simultaneous astringency. Ginger, saffron, ambrette seeds give it character, while the almond sweetness is enhanced by the fruity freshness and sweetness of the peach nectar, which reveals its velvety skin in addition to its juicy inside. Something that I can feel very clearly is Ylang Ylang, which feels thick and creamy like peach nectar. Its presence, along with peach and ginger, enlivens the fragrance and gives it a touch of exoticism.

The whole rests on a very pleasant amber base, a bit reminiscent of sandalwood with elements of musk. A fragrance to know, but certainly not for everyone.
