702 is the latest release from Bon Parfumeur, created by the young and talented Juliette Karagueuzoglu of IFF. Created in times of pandemic where travel is more difficult and often restricted. Created to take you to another space. And to where? Wherever you want to go. It's up to you, because it's a very original perfume that offers a wide range of interpretations of destinations.
It's a surprising and bold combination of lavender and incense that I am seeing for the first time. Aromatic incense or incense fougère is a good term for it. What you get is what you see on the label: Lavender (from France), Incense and Cashmere Wood.
702 is slightly spicy (thanks to pink pepper), slightly fresh (lemon and elemi), warm and soft ( incense, balsam Peru, vanilla). Lavender is most commonly used in aromatherapy because it helps relieve stress and promote serenity. For me, it's a very lavender perfume, so we find that calm and comfort here too, but with a hint of the madness that the pandemic has tried to suppress in us.
