Immortelle is a plant known as helichrysum or Italian helichrysum. It is a small perennial plant that belongs to the Asteraceae family. Originally it comes from the Mediterranean region, Central Asia and China.
Helichrysum is used in medicine (it has a beneficial effect on the liver and pancreas) and in cosmetics, it is excellent for skin care. Its small yellow flowers never wither and always look the same, hence its name Immortelle.
