Information
Hay consists of grasses, legumes and other plants, mowed before maturity and dried in natural conditions. It is one of the main dry roughages in the nutrition of ruminants and horses.
The smell of hay is green, slightly tea-like, aromatic, reminiscent of cut grass and slightly sweet. Associated with warmth, in summer, it also has delicate balsamic / coumarin aspects.
